Each lavender field begins with carefully selected young plants that are established in neat rows, allowing every plant enough space to receive sunlight, airflow, and nutrients. Maturing
Lavender develops gradually throughout the year. During spring and early summer, the plants grow vigorously, forming dense foliage before producing their characteristic flower spikes. Throughout the growing season, we continuously monitor the health of our fields and care for every plant so it can naturally develop its rich aromatic profile.
Flowering
As summer approaches, the fields transform into a sea of purple. This short flowering period is the result of months of careful cultivation and is one of the most important stages in the entire production cycle. The flowers are rich in aromatic compounds, attracting pollinators while filling the air with the unmistakable scent of Bulgarian lavender.
Harvest
Harvest is one of the most critical moments of the season. Timing is carefully planned so the flowers are collected at their optimal stage, preserving the plant's natural aromatic profile and ensuring the highest possible quality of the essential oil. Freshness is essential, which is why harvested lavender is transported promptly for distillation.
Steam Distillation
Shortly after harvest, the lavender is distilled using steam distillation. As steam passes through the freshly harvested flowers, it gently releases their aromatic compounds, producing both pure lavender essential oil and fragrant lavender floral water.This traditional extraction method preserves the plant's natural character without the use of solvents or chemical processing.
Quality & Storage
Once distilled, every batch is carefully handled and stored under appropriate conditions to preserve its freshness, aroma, and quality. Each production lot is documented, allowing complete traceability from the field to the finished product. Our lavender completes its journey only when it becomes part of your products.
